Approval of the Brexit negotiations and confidence in the PM continue their slump
Continued Tory infighting this month, and a damning assessment of the Chequers agreement by EU Chief Negotiator Michel Barnier, have done little to alter public opinion of the Brexit process. Approval of the way the PM is handling the Brexit negotiations continues to sit at 24%. Likewise confidence that she will get the right deal remains at a record low (22%).

N=2,032 interviews conducted among a representative sample of the UK adult population September 7th to 9th 2018. Questions have been asked over the first weekend of each month since November 2016. The statistical margin of error at the 95% confidence level is + 2.2%.
