PUBLIC CONFIDENCE INCREASE IN BREXIT NEGOTIATIONS. NEW POLLING RESULTS.
On the first weekend of each month ORB International polls a nationally representative sample of n=2,000 adults aged 18+ throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This month, 44% said they think the Prime Minister will get the right deal for Britain in the Brexit negotiations, up from 41% last month.
There is also a slight increase in the number of people that feel Britain will be better off post Brexit. 43% agreed with this statement in May, compared to only 41% in April.
In addition, 64% of respondents think that the UK will have greater control over immigration post Brexit, and 43% said that having greater control over immigration is more important than having access to the single market.
