MARCH 2017 CONFIDENCE IN BREXIT REMAINS STEADY FOLLOWING LAST MONTH’S SIGNIFICANT INCREASE
ORB’s Brexit Confidence Tracker revels that the large increases in confidence measured last month have largely remained. A majority (51%) approve of the way in which the government is handling the negotiations. Last month the figure was 53%; two months ago 38%.
A plurality (45%) feel Prime Minister May will get the right deal for Britain in any negotiations. However, there is a significant difference here with age – those younger significantly less convinced than older counterparts.
ORB interviewed 2084 people online 3rd-5th March 2017. The data is weighted to be nationally representative of UK adults aged 18+.
