Six weeks to go – Conservatives retain strong lead.

Slight fall this week in support for the Conservative Party this week (42%), but still well ahead of Labour at (31%). Lib Dem increase to 10%, and UKIP hold at 8%.

Over 75s overwhelmingly support Theresa May and the Conservative party – 67% of respondents in this age group said they would vote for her. Only 17% of this group said they would vote for Labour.

Scottish support for the Conservative Party remains steady – 27% this week, up from 25% last week.

There’s a large gender split in the support for the Labour Party – 35% of women said they will vote Labour, compared to only 28% of men.

  • 13% of people who voted for the Lib Dems in 2015 said they would vote Conservative this time around
  • 44% of people who voted for UKIP in 2015 said they would now vote Conservative
  • 19% of Remain voters said they would vote for the Liberal Democrats in this election
