ORB/The Independent Poll on Europe & Labour leadership - June 2015

Should Britain remain a member of the European Union is the question the country will face in 2017. The data from our poll carried out over the weekend suggests the public is currently split on the answer.

Of more urgency is the next leader of the Labour party.   Irrespective of how they will vote (or if they will vote, given the current questions within our polling community about turnout!) Andy Burnham is perceived as the candidate who would do the most to improve Labour's chances, Jeremy Corbyn the candidate who would do most to harm Labour's chances.

ORB carried out 2,000 online interviews among a nationally representative sample of adults throughout England, Scotland and Wales 19th-21st June 2015.
