Latest Polling on Rural Issues JULY 2015

Polling over the weekend 10-12 July reveals …

  • More than two in three (68%) agree that it is acceptable for farmers to cull/shoot foxes to protect lambs and other livestock on their farms
  • Just two in five (40%) feel that the Hunting Act should be left as a criminal offence.  The same number argue that it should be amended or repealed. 
  • Less than one in four (23%) say that fox hunting is an issue they care passionately about. 

ORB interviewed a representative sample of 2,058 adults across England, Scotland and Wales 10th-12 July 2015. The statistical margin of error at the 95% confidence level is +2.2%
