As part of the worldwide Gallup International group, research was undertaken on behalf of Transparency International among 114,000 adults across 107 countries around the world on views towards corruption.
We asked the same questions in the UK as our partners did across the globe. Who has paid a bribe? How important are personal contacts in the public sector if you want things to be done? How effective is your government in the fight against corruption.
