British public think Cameron will be next PM but Miliband not far behind

These are the findings from our poll conducted this week among a nationally representative sample of 2051 adults across England Scotland and Wales.

They show that David Cameron is preferred as Prime Minister... but is that enough?  Despite intense scrutiny, Ed Miliband has performed well in the campaign.  However, when the public are asked whether the prospect of a Labour/SNP deal makes them more or less likely to vote Labour, results suggest the net impact would be a loss of vote for Labour.
